CLO Tutorial 2.
Assignment 3.
The final assignment asks you to consider the differences between your physical and digital explorations, as well as the difference between your small and large models. Your last task is to propose an afterscale form that combines elements from the physical and digital world as well as elements from small and large physics.
Add more architectural scale referents such as features and materials that suggest the size of the initial pyramid. Work to produce one project that simulates material from both the 9” and 3’ models.
-Features:
Use cut outs to add referents like windows and doors. Simply use a rectangle to cut out. Use a standard window size, such as 3.5’x6’ and door size 3.5’x8’. Consider the taping method you used in your physical model to use a window pattern.
-Material
Use a combination of materials to simulate different physical properties. Incorporate different thickening techniques such as corrugation, pleating, and tufting.
Deliverables:
Hand videos of your previous models.
A 21” physical model.
Photographs of the physical model.
A new CLO model.
Screenshots.
Screenrecords.
